Rocco's Round-Up (9/2/24 to 15/2/24)
Daniel Farke received the manager of the month award today, his second of the season, and how richly deserved it was too; his team are flying, and his pressers are up there with anything we've seen.
Swansea A - Preview | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!
Games are coming thick and fast and it is fair to say this will be the busiest month of the season and the way it is going for Leeds it may well be a pivotal month. With a run of six league wins in a row it is not rational to think Leeds are going to win the next three and make it 9 on the spin.
Rocco's Round-Up (2/2/24 to 8/2/24)
The Mighty Whites are always mighty in white, and got the weekend off to a perfect start with a 1-0 win at Ashton Gate, moving them into the promotion places for the first time this season.
Bristol City A - Preview | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!
Leeds United head to Ashton Gate tonight for what is likely to be another difficult fixture. It is a hell of a month ahead for Leeds with much traveling for the away fans and four short flights for the Mighty Whites, with two visits to Plymouth and Swansea to come after the long trip to The West Country tonight, not to mention a 5th round away game at Chelsea or Villa if they win at Plymouth.
Rocco's Round-Up (26/1/24 to 1/2/24)
Leeds fans around the world were aghast this morning, with no weekly round-up published on Leeds That. The news that Charlie Cresswell has decided to stay and fight for his place at Leeds must have gone some way to easing the pain
Plymouth Home, FA Cup - Preview | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!
So an FA Cup tie at Elland Road is finally happening today after Leeds United set a record of 13 away ties drawn in a row. Plymouth Argyle are making the long trip from the South Coast and a draw wouldn’t totally surprise me, with Leeds away to Plymouth in the league on Saturday 17th February.
Leeds 2 Preston 1 | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!!!
The unchanged team was no surprise but with Byram fit and on the bench it was disappointing to see Firpo starting. Since the turn of the year Leeds have done a nine darter, 3 games of 3-0 wins and how appropriate that darts World Champion Luke Humphries paraded his newly won trophy around his beloved Elland Road prior to kick-off.
Preston Home - Preview | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!
A 12 noon Sunday kick-off to accommodate Sky keeps me once again away from Elland Road. These lunchtime kick-offs are notorious for producing slow starting, low key performances and contests.
Rocco's Round-Up (12/1/24 to 18/1/24)
The day between the presser and the match is always the quietest of the week, but there was an important game in Hull, where the 7th placed Tigers lost to Norwich, presenting Leeds with the chance to establish a 10-point cushion inside the top six tomorrow.
