Who Presents the Leeds, That! Podcast?
Rocco Dean - writes all his books using an old fashioned fountain pen. He doesn’t.
Rocco Dean
My name is Rocco Dean, and I am a die-hard Leeds United fan. My journey as a writer began as a kid when I used to record my own notes from Leeds United games. It was during the 2020 lockdown when I started documenting the transformation of our beloved team under Marcelo Bielsa's leadership.
I am proud to have authored four books under Pitch Publishing: "Marcelo Bielsa vs The Damned United", "The O'Leary Years", "League One Leeds", and "Marcelo Bielsa vs The Premier League". These books capture the incredible journey of Leeds United and their progress under Bielsa's guidance.
In addition to my writing, I have become a regular and now permanent presenter and article contributor for the "Leeds That" podcast. It's a privilege to share my passion and knowledge about Leeds United with fellow fans and football enthusiasts through this platform.
Being a writer and podcast contributor has allowed me to express my love for the sport and my favorite team in ways I could have never imagined as a kid taking notes during games. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing my journey as a writer and football enthusiast. MOT! (Marching On Together!)

James Weller
My connection with Leeds United began in 1993, when I attended my first match - Leeds vs. Blackburn. That experience marked the start of my long-standing support for the club.
Following the frustration of Leeds United’s semi-final play-off loss to Derby County, we wanted to channel that energy into something constructive. That’s how the Leeds, That! podcast was born. Since its launch, I’ve taken an active role in producing and editing episodes, as well as managing our social media presence.
Inspired by Marcelo Bielsa’s philosophy that football is about more than just the game, our aim with Leeds, That? is to offer more than match analysis. We want the podcast to be a positive force within the city - a platform that contributes to the Leeds community and drives meaningful, gradual change.
