With the World Cup in swing and Christmas around the corner, there’s no better time to chat to Robert Endeacott about his latest book, Cocker Hoop, a fascinating biography on Les Cocker. Les was the right-hand man to Don Revie throughout his Elland Road reign, and to Sir Alf Ramsey when football came home in 1966. As you can imagine, the book is even more enthralling than this interview, in which we also cover present-day Leeds United, Marcelo Bielsa (obviously), and Robert’s exciting new project, ‘No Footsteps in the Snow’.
