London on a Monday night, never fun! The curse isn’t broken but you’d hope a draw and one point in the capital will come in valuable in the dying moments of the season. Nervy times, and a lot of ‘concentrate on ourselves’ but it’s impossible. All to play for, and all to lose too! Oh the joys of being a Leeds fan…
146 | Watford (A)
Well well. What was the panic all about? Leeds beat relegation rivals Watford and Burnley lose to bottom of the table to Norwich. We'd be stupid to think it's all over and we're safe - as we know the Leeds, that law - but we have to be close. Rocco and Paul talk all the permeations to our end of season run up, then make some time to talk about the game!
145 | Southampton (H)
Some of the pressure was relieved from our recent victories over Wolves and Norwich, but this one gave us chance to put some distance between us and those with games in hand. A turning point to our season based on players coming back from injuries - you realise how much we’ve missed Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips and all the things that could have been this season…
144 | Thumb Twiddling - International Break
We've been spoilt with recent international breaks as a lot of our heroes have been braced for overseas battle playing for their home nations - not this time! A fresh crop of injuries rules all that out, and maybe it's a good thing. Off the back of potentially pivotal results the break gives us some key talkings points: Jesse Marsch so far, survival chances, Disney Land. But the main talking points on everyone's lips, probably because it's a quiet time of the year with no club football going on - what'll happen at the end of the season to Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips. We discuss.
143 | Wolves (A)
Down and out at half-time. I don't think a fan, pundit - ANYONE, thought we were coming back into that game except for Jesse Marsch, and maybe that's exactly what this football club needed. Still loads to do in terms of improving the way we play but results are all the matter right now. I'm not sure we can cope with all these late winners. Get in Leeds!
142 | Norwich City (H)
Today is all about 94th minute winners and the emotional roller coaster of watching football at Elland Road. We re-cap on Villa and discuss the massive victory against Norwich City on whatever will be forever remembered as Joffy Day. Joseph Gelhardt writing is name into Leeds United history.
141 | Leicester City (A)
It’s been an emotional week after Marcelo Bielsa was sacked - never have our fans ever been so united! Jesse Marsch’s first match in charge of Leeds saw a solid performance at Leicester, that lacked that killer edge, which we’ve seen so many times before. How do we get the results?
140 | GRACIAS MARCELO BIELSA
Marcelo Bielsa has had such a massive impact on all our lives. He gave us something to enjoy during lockdown and he'll forever be revered for not only taking us to the premier league but for teaching all of us to be better people. Marchando Juntos, para siempre! (marching on together, forever!)
