Plymouth Away Preview | Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!

Plymouth (A): Preview

The visit to Plymouth Argyle for a 12.30 kick off on Saturday is the final leg of a sequence of league games that has taken Leeds United up and down the country during the shortest month of the year. You can add to the away trips to Bristol and Swansea and Plymouth the FA Cup ties away at Plymouth and Chelsea, and if you looked through the history books I would be surprised if any team has clocked up more domestic miles in a month. That we have achieved so many wins is remarkable and Plymouth looks another banker. We will very likely see another unchanged side with tremendous strength in depth on the bench. Byram, Bamford and Struik are all injured and missing from the squad and yet you could select 4 or 5 players that will be on the bench and  play them and the team would be hardly weakened.

Southampton are away at West Brom tonight and this will be a tough one and they will be under a lot of pressure. I will be surprised if they don’t drop at least two points. This run we are on cannot go on much longer, we are going to at least draw a match in the near future but tomorrow is so vital to our automatic promotion push. If there ever was a must win game I think this is it. We have to stay in second spot from now on. A win tomorrow and a draw at home to Leicester next Friday is the perfect scenario for me. I am not greedy and I have to be realistic, we are not going to keep on winning; bad luck and injuries will happen over the next few weeks.
